SLIP AND SLIDE COMING UP!
Next Friday, July 30, the Armory Gymnastics Center will host the annual Team Slip and Slide. This event marks the end of the Summer hours in the gym. You should check the web for the Fall practice hours if you have not already done so. The Slip and Slide will be held at the gym during the normal Friday practice hours. This event is for team members and squad members only. Brothers and sisters may not attend. If your child has a Sno-Biz, grass, watermelon, pizza, fun, etc. allergy, you should make your coach or the office aware of that now. Otherwise, we will carry on with our plans of watermelon fights and sno-biz comas. Again, we will hold the slip and slide during the regular practice time. All children should be picked up at noon.
Big Plans
for the
Summer at the Armory!
We are busy now finalizing the Summer schedule and it is a busy one for the gymnasts and cheerleaders at the Armory! The plans are to have choreographers and clinicians in and out of the gym all Summer! Then to compliment the things we want to see in the gym, we are planning activities that will take us out of the gym for some team building and fellowship experiences. The booster club and the gym coaches are also working to coordinate the efforts of the gym, gymnasts and parents to make this busy summer free to those who help and participate. Please watch this site and your folders for more concrete plans and dates, then plan to be around and take advantage of the activities and clinics we have coming. We hope to make this a Summer to remember!
